Stanfords Whos who is a scam, boiler room operation that just took me for $1914.60. I first saw it on Linkedin, thought it might be a good idea, so i sent an email and got a call a few days later. the lady on the phone went thru the options and I chose a lifetime membership. 2 payments, first one $818.95, posted on 8-25-10, and a second payment of $199. when a airline ticket voucher arrived with my membership materials. a man called on 9-27-10 to say my materials are being shipped and the second payment would be charged, and i said ok, thinking it was the $199.00 second payment.

on 9-28-10 i see on my online banking statement a charge from this company of $896.65. i thought it must be a mistake and called to notify them. when i did i was told it was correct and i approved it, (i did not, in any way approve a charge of $896.65). when i objected and asked for a refund he said no but did offer to waive forever the $9.95 per month lifetime membership charge and said there would be no other charges on my account. he said he would email me this in writing, said continued success, and hung up on me. i called back and it went to voicemail. i never received an email, but on the 30th of september there was another charge of $199.00 on my credit card. this organization is a scam and these people are cheats. i will not go down without a fight.
