Please! Please! ask questions. I normally pride myself on reseaching products and services i am interested in. In this case I was blinded by the the low rate for service but in the end you get what you pay for. First if someone claims to have license or certification verify by visiting http://www.fngla.org/. After my experience I was surprise that there have be no complaints or compliments about this business. If you also visit their website (https://www.facebook.com/Stanley-Lawn-Maintenance-126862180845239/ ) the are no posts from clients. If you still decide to use their service, I would also suggestion getting reference from their customers(if you are comfortable with requesting). So couple things will happen here. "James Stanley" will meet with you. He will state that they have been around since early 2000. I was told couple different years the business was concieved, 2001 and 2002. His facebook says 1999. Hw will talk about how big of a crew he has. Its only him and one other person. He will throw out name of plants, trees, grass to display his knowledge. All good selling points but does not equal good or quality services. To sum this up. I found no license or certification issued to this company or owner.

To be blunt, if you want to be scammed then you go with these guys. I litteral had to put up a camera just to verify my concerns. I have a rental home that I hire these guys (supposely a company). When I met with these 3 guys they smelled like weed. I wrote it off as musk and smell of grass. The first month they appeared to do what I hired them to do. The second. Instead of 4pm he started to show up at 5pm. No problem, by month 3 my tenants told me he was showing up 6:30 to 7pm and leaving within 15min. These guys were to show up 4 times a week. Over the next 2 months after putting up the camera and ton of excusing. It boiled down to this. On month he mowed twice, he also show to a third and notice that the tenants weren't home. What happened next confused me. He unloaded the lawn mower.
Walked to the backyard 2 minutes later walked to the trailer grab a blower did the patio. Loaded is equipment back on and drove off. When I called and asked about that month he (Stanley) stated he came every week. Lied! Anyway, I told I knew he was not present and dock his pay. He sayed he didn't want to be fired and he will make it up to me. The following almost the same thing. Except this time he left a bill with full monthly balance on the 3rd week before the month was over. As if I should pay for service before getting it done. So I kept the bill. He never did the 3rd or 4th, litteral never showed up. I then get a call from his "secratary" about a late bill. When I asked the amount it was the full balance. Needless to say, he never returned to make up for the 2 weeks and I only paid for the weeks he should. So if you want a bunch of lazy people claiming to be reliable and have quality work. Then go with these scam artists.
