Complaint Review: Stantisha Kemp

I tutored Mrs. Kemp's son (let's call him Bob) in math from March to June in 2013. And for what it's worth, I did a darn good job; he even won an award for scoring higher than all of his 100+ classmates on the CRCT (a standardized test taken at the end of the school year) math portion. And how did Stantisha show her appreciation? By not paying me a dime!!

So why did I keep tutoring him even though she wasn't paying?

First of all, Bob and I met around 4 and finished around 6, before she got off work. Other than during the initial session, she was never home. Occasionally, her pervy husband was there (ugh), but for the most part, it was just Bob, Bob's little sister, and I. While as a nerdy young female, I undestand that I don't raise much suspicion; however, I found it pretty odd that somone would leave thier children unattended with someone they essentially don't know. 

Secondly, her nice home, not to mention the fact that she was getting ready to open a restaurant, led me to believe she wasn't exactly afraid of spending. Heck, she had designer bags on her dining room floor, each worth more than what she owes me. Go figure...

Eventually, I had to accept the fact that even though she had plenty of money, I wasn't going to see any of it. 

It needs to be public knowledge that Stantisha Kemp is a liar and a thief. After reading about what she did to the Tailfeathers employees, it seems no one's immune to her revolting brand of dishonesty. If you've never interacted wth her, keep it that way. And if you've worked for her, please share about how she's conned you. Even if we never get what we're owed, we can at least try to protect others from her scams.
