Stanton Optical Told me two pair of glasses cost $69. Later wanted to charge me $138. Walked out. They threatened to call police to make me pay for the eye exam. Palm Springs Florida
Upon entering store, Stanton Optical's manager told me that 2 pair of single vision glasses (which is what I needed) would cost a total of $ 69. including the "free" eye exam. When it came time to check out they told me the cost would actually be $138. (or double the quoted amount). I told them to forget it and started walking out. The clerk threatened to call the police if I did not pay for the eye exam. I told them to go ahead and call the police and then left.
