Complaint Review: Symantec

Staples and Symantec said I was not eligible for rebate when I submitted everything required. Ripoff! Cupertino California

I purchased the Norton System Works Professional anti virus software from Staples. Made out all the paperwork and included the information from my computer that said I had the previous version, sales receipt and bar code.

I got a letter saying I did not provide all the information and was not eligible for the rebate. I never got the rebate from Staples either.

Not only did I not get the rebate but for some reason I get the message to do a live update and the only thing that happens is I get an error message.

Foolish me not to make a copy of information but once I installed the new version the page proving I had the previous version was no longer available.
