Staples Rebate refused for bogus reason, rippedoff for $70.00 Heath Ohio
Ripped off by Staples and HP:
On Black Friday, 2008, bought HP laptop and printer with offer of full rebate on price of printer ($70.00). Appled for rebate online via Staples EasyRebate. In Jan. 2009 got letter from HP stating rebate was rejected because it didn't apply if "Net to Zero" offer (never heard of this, doesn't even make sense) also applied (wasn't even offered). After several calls, HP changed story to "rebate claimed with same serial number", and they asked for UPC to be sent. I didn't save UPC as it was not required for EasyRebate. Emailed Staples customer support a number of times, was eventually told the rebate was affirmed and would get it in mail in 2 weeks. Rebate never arrived, subsequent emails from Staples said they
could NOT affirm rebate and to call HP 800 number (same one I called earlier).I gave up and so am screwed oout of $70.00. Will never buy HP or from Staples again.

Im sorry to say, that this being an HP rebate must be resolved by HP.
