In December, I was contacted by an individual by the name of Mike Haberman indicating that I was qualified to receive a $15,000.00 loan. Sending a substantial down-payment for my credit insurance policy, the funds were to be direct deposited into my checking account.

Mr. Haberman was very nice and patient contacting me almost everyday to see if I could come up with the money. Of course now the company's original "877" number is automatically dialed and a recording automatically says "Thank You..Goodbye".

After some surfing I did find a listing for the company 416-232-2857. Of course Mr. Haberman rarely answers his line and his voice mailbox is too full (isn't that convenient?).

I also did some investigating and after going to the website that Mr. Haberman indicated was used to get my information I found a misprint on one of the web pages. Callaton Financial Services forgot to change the name of Canada Holding on one of the web pages. Just wouldn't you know it Canada has several rip-off reports listed on them at this website.

So if you are contacted out of the blue by Mike Haberman, James McKay or Allen Foster and you are told to send a MoneyGram to George Mathis or George Wilson in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.....Hang up the phone immediately!

Boy, they saw me coming a mile away. I'm out $700.00. I've lost my checking account that I have struggled to keep for over 12 years, and it is the anger I feel inside that has kept me from contemplating suicide.
