Star Capital Securities tried to have me deposit a $4,875.00 check into my bank account. then they wanted me to send $2,975 .00in a moneygram or western union directly to tax agent to receive the balance of a sweepstakes winnings of $120,125.00. which I didnot due ,the check and conformation letter came in a plain white envelope with no return address. I recieved a check for $4,875.00 with a sweepstakes confermation letter. I was not able to cash the check untill I called in a claim number.After calling they said to deposite it in my account then call them after words and they would tell me where to send $2,975 by western union or money gram for a final lump sum of $120,125. Idid not because the envelop was plain white with only my address on it nothing else.I knew something was not right with the whole thing.I reserched the company and found it was a scam.
