I am suprised to see that Star Communications is still ripping people off. About a year ago, I got a call from a Telemarketer who claimed to offer me a $500 Free Shopping Spree if I agreed to buy the Family Fun Pass, which offered discounts to Amusement Parks, etc. I was told that I will be billed only $4.95 for Shipping and Handling and that the Shopping Spree was mine to keep, also, that I could cancel within a certain timeframe. I gave them my debit card info, and $4.95 was deducted from my checking account. The time period for cancellation had expired and I received no merchandise. When I tried to call the company, there was no answer for 3 days. I then searched the internet to see if I could contact a representative by E-Mail and I found the Rip Off Reports of other consumers who had money taken from their bank accounts by Star Communications without their permission. I had to close my checking account and thankfully they got only the initial $4.95. This company, if it is still in business, needs to be shut down!
