Star Communications ripoff harassing solicitation calls Canoga Park California
On December 13, 2005 about 7:30 pm cst, I received a phone call from star communications congratulating me on winning a $500 shopping spree. I responded in telling them I am not interested in their program.
On December 14, 2005 about 11:30 am cst, I received a second phone call from star communications. I explained to the caller I had received a call already the night before and I had not been interested. I also asked the person to take me off of the calling list. He claimed he would take care of it.
On December 14, 2005 at 8:30 pm cst, I received yet a third call from star communications. At this point I asked for the home office location. I barely understood the person, for his accent was not of any American dialect. When he did give me the address I explained to him he was the 3rd caller within 24 hours and that I had already asked to be taken off of the call list.
His answer to me was "we will call as many times as we like". I answered what his company was doing was illegal and against the do not call registry laws. He did not understand to the point I told him "You are breaking United States Law".
I told him do not call again, and hung up.
Two of the three people I had spoken to do not have American dialects. I also had looked up this company through the online yellow pages. This company name is not listed in Canoga Park, Ca.
I have also come across an archive complaint posted on the BBB website dated June, 2005 with this old address. Very possible this company not listed publicly.
