Star Communications Shopping Spree Rip Off Canoga Park California
I was contacted about receiving a $500 shopping spree if I would agree to review a calling card plan for a $4.95 shipping fee. I asked a lot of questions, address, phone number, contact person, confirmation numbers; everything that you would think would alert you to a problem- all were answered easily and quickly.
I even called them after 10days when I hadn't recieved anything and was told I should get it in the mail soon. I was not advised that should I recieve nothing, to call them back to cancel so I wouldn't be charged. After another 2weeks, I still hadn't recieved anything, but oh was I charged $149!
Of course I asked for a manager and a refund and was given the run around.
So now I begin the process of letting everyone know and seeing if my bank can help.
