I purchased the aforementioned vehicle (2006 Ford E250) from Star Global Financial, Inc. on October 29, 2014.

The owner, Dave promised me to deliver the title within in three months from date of purchase.

It has been over a year two months.

The dealership didn’t repair the rear shocks

The dealership didn’t honor the warranty on the engine and transmission

The dealership stopped sending me temporary license plates in June 2015, I put the vehicle in storage long before because of mechanical issues and I because was stopped several times because of the temporary license plates.

I invested over a thousand in repairs.

After the third month the dealer rarely answered my calls

I offered to sell the vehicle back to the dealer at cost price willing to forsake the money I spent on repairs.

I made several trips to NJ to the dealership investing numerous hours, fuel costs and tolls only to be given excuses and turned away empty handed, i.e: the dealers mother is in the hospital, the dealers son is sick, he secretary just left and she took the title with her, his mechanic didn’t show up, he has to run and pick up his son, he locked his keys in the trailer, he tow truck broke down on the NJ turnpike and etc.

That’s not all the owner said he would make it easier for me and bring the title to Brooklyn needless to say he never showed up.  He told me he was in Brooklyn however his phone died and he forget my address and telephone number so he gave the title to his uncle who resides in Brooklyn, NY So  I made arrangements with his uncle to meet his uncle three times waiting on one occasion for with my worker two hours and he never showed up costing me more money, taking more time away from my business and my family.  There were two occasions I made arrangements with his wife or ex-wife who supposedly had the title driving all the way to Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn NY approximately 30 minutes from my home and on both occasions she never showed up.

On two of the many occasions I traveled to the dealership I meet three people who after many months didn’t receive their titles.

In addition I read complaints on the internet at BBB website and rip off report about this business unscrupulous practices

When I mentioned I was going to bring to court he said he is not worried and he was going to declare bankruptcy.

The NJ Motor Vehicals web site has instructions on how to deal with this Under titles, Dealer out of Business.

File a complaint with the NJ Dealer Commission.

Then file in small claims court, make sure you list the owner personally on the suit. Ask for costs for every time you were to meet someone to resolve this. At the very least you get to harrass him with the court helping.

Should be good fun. :)
