Star International moved my household resulting in excessive damages. When my company forwarded my concerns to a Mr. Re at Star he promised to "ensure everything was resolved to my satisfaction". He contacted me via email first and made this promise without any previous contact.

Now after more than 8 months of discussions with he and the insurance company he is now saying the problem is mine to resolve with the insurance, not him. He has tried to imply it is my fault because the shipment was not insured for enough.

He is also claiming I made a part of the problem by sending the insurance application directly to the insurer rather than to Star. I don't think it should make any difference since both needed the form.

It was sent to the insurer because I recieved conflicting information from Star each time I called and I could no longer count on them.

I used Star at the recommendation of my company and had grave reservations from the lack of responsiveness beginning with my first contact with Star.
