Complaint Review: Star Mover/Star Van Lines

Star Movers (changed to Star Van Lines) is a RIPOFF! They sent two men in a Ryder truck that were 5 hours late. They pack up the truck and then double the estimate, after forcing you to sign a blank contract without prices on it before they'll start loading.

Now it's 6 weeks later, and they refuse to deliver our belongings so they can add holding charges. They won't even tell us what state our stuff is in. We have been scheduled for delivery 5 Saturdays in a row now, and when we call Friday afternoon to confirm, they say "we are not going to deliver".

TOM is the owner, and he's an A$$hole...completely rude and arrogant.

Don't use SpeedMoving.com either, because we booked the reservation through them, and they contracted out to these losers. They pretend they don't know us now, and won't return calls, emails, and faxes. JENNY R. was the person who booked the reservation, and they could care less that we're being ripped off.
