Complaint Review: Star Rebates Inc

I figured I would add my story to the list.

I signed up for this RIPOFF program thru my exercise gym to help reduce the annual cost of the gym membership.  Even the owner of the gym says she will NEVER do this one again.  She has had to call her rep on almost every one of these things she gave out.  She also told me she had to "buy" these programs.  So this company has THEIR money already.

I signed up for a $25 gas card in Nov 2010.  I got 3 months of rebates but only after the owner of the gym called her rep.    But I got two $25 cards and a $20 card.  My gym did warn me that I might get a $20 card because many others already had.  I am still waiting for my Feb 2011 thru July 2011 cards, plus the $5 they shorted me for Jan 2011.

Sending them an email does no good at all.  They say they will respond in 2 days but it's more like 2 weeks and you have to email them again to get that response!  Then I was told how hard they were working and how sorry they were for the delay.  Oh! and they thanked me for my patience.

Well that was June 27 and you guessed it!  NO CARDS YET.  I think I've run out of patience on this one!  I agree with some of the other posts.  Maybe we do have a class action suit or something.

I did find a phone number on your site which I did not have.  SO..... I WILL BE CALLING them and bugging the you now what out of them now.
