I too am one of the victims to have been scammed by Starbiz Entertainment in Scottsdale. I paid $585 and was told that I would be contacted when an assignment was found for my daughter that was in September of last year and I still have not heard from them. She was put in a publication AZ Parenting, I think it's called, which was supposedly a print modeling clothes for 'Jacadi of Paris'a store then when it came out I was told that it was "for experience only" and we would not be paid. That was the last I heard from them. I was definitely under the impression that I was going to get paid for it, I wasn't told that the first assignment was just for experience and not to expect payment. This is the first time something like this has happened to me and I definitely would like to pursue stopping Starbiz from continuing it's fraudlulent activity therefore doing this to anyone else and their children.

To everyone following these reports, I posted on another report that I may exercise my right to picket on the sidewalk in front of Starbiz. My wife thinks it is a bad idea as she would be concerned for my safety. I think that if others are willing to picket with me, she would feel better about it. So what do you say, anyone else up for a picket within the next few weeks? Please rebuttal and let me know. If I get it organized, I will post the dates and times here.

I just called the Attorney General's office to follow up on the complaint I filed. The person I spoke with said that my complaint was in the system and was being investigated by the legal staff.
He did indicate that everyone with the same complaint should file a report. I urge everyone to go to the following website and fill out a Consumer Complaint Form:

If the AG's office sees a trend developing, they are more likely to pursue action.
