Starbiz Models & Talent ripoff, lied, took advantage of. ripoff Scottsdale Arizona
My daughter took my grandaughter to Starbiz kids. She saw an add in the paper looking for kids to model clothing. Bruce told her that he already had a job for her. He told her that he only signs up kids if he has a job for them at that time. We were excited for my grandaughter and fell into their trap.
We paid the $695 fee. They took pictures but we never did get a copy of the magazine that she was supposed to have been in. We were also told that she would have at least two auditions per month. They told my daughter that they had an audition for her at the end of July but when they failed to call her with the details, she called them. They told her that they changed their minds and needed someone older. They also told my daughter not to call them, they would call her.
I would like my daughter to get her money back but more than that, I would like to find a way to make sure that the same thing doesn't keep happening to other people.

that these "modeling agencies" are rip offs? The prey on gullible parents that figure they are just one more portfolio or one more modeling lesson away from their kid being the next big star.
