Complaint Review: Starbiz Whilhamina

I already had experience in the acting field; But I wanted to look for an agent close by the scottsdale area. I heared Starbiz was looking for faces. They claimed they were agents and didnt say anything about paying money upfront. They told me I had talent and they would train me for only $1,000!!! I didnt have that kind of money, so a friend who was going through a horrible divorce wanted to see me succeed so bad, gave me the money. I only gave them the 1,000 because they had told everyone, that they were whilhamina, and whilhamina was starting a business here in arizona!

SO, under the impression that this was a big time modeling agency, I signed up and gave them the money. They took my pictures in a room the size of a box, with a very blue background! They didnt tell you what to wear or how to do your makeup. The photographer was very unperfessional, and I have to tell you I had better pictures taken!!! They promised my pictures would be up right away, and I would have jobs lined up soon. NEVER DID! It took them 3 months just to get my picture up on their website, and then I never got called for anything! I havent heared from them as well. ITS A HUGE RIPOFF, AND I ATTEND TO GET MY MONEY BACK IN FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND A GUY NAMED BRUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!
