Saw an add in the paper looking for babies to model. Went to audition, called back and my baby was selected to come back and have a photo shoot in a commercial add print at "Girly Girlz" a new novelty shop that was about to have a grand opening and needed cute faces to market their rental Birthday Tea Party set up.

The photo shoot was at the store located off of Scottsdale Rd. The promised commercial ad was printed on the back of Arizona Parent magazine a free magazine and it looked like a yearbook page not an advertisment for a "Girly Girlz store", the store name was listed in the middle with its address.

Starbiz informed me my daughter needed headshots and 100 -8X10 prints would cost me $685. A steal of a deal for a professional shot $6.85 a sheet. I would get 50 to send out to the agencies listed on the website and Starbiz was going to send 50 to separate contacts and pay the postage helping me out, actually dropping the sheet price to around $3.00. This is Jill selling the package deal. My daughter would also be placed on a website.

Jill and Heidi informed us there is no problem we lived in SLC, UT because a sister agency Wilhemina was in SLC, UT and they could get us local assignments or we would fly back.

The headshots were horrible; it looked like my daughter had a skin tone problem, not to mention a huge black eye and shadow on the nose. The pose was cute but the shadowing, and fish eyes were horrible.

I sent the photos back and begged for them to take my daughter off the website it looked like she was a beaten child-horrible pictures. I asked Bruce why would you even send them out and place her picture on the website looking like that. He said they were fine and I told him to call me when he recieved them and was sitting down looking at them.

Long story short I asked for a refund answer was no. I asked for a new photo shoot at the sister store Wilhemina, answer pay half. I went to the BBB and got no where.

Bruce was so rude and unprofessional he would curse on the phone, hang up on you if you asked a question he didn't like. Anne said she could fix the photo. They sent me a headshoot with a smudge under her eye and said "Well she doesn't have a black now.

Finally admitting the first photos sucked. I sent back photos again and plead to please take her off the website or fix the picture.

Bruce said he was going to have a professional photo editor come and fix the picture. The third time was no different and he said that's all the could do and was done with me. I reported everything to the BBB and nothing happened. Bruce just cursed me out for getting the BBB involved.

I have 50 horrible pictures, Do you think he sent out his half of the 100.

I am glad to see the rip off report website.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
