well this is not a big deal of a situation but I still think it's a health hazard and very wrong. I went into starbucks to get a drink, and where they were making my drink, they had taken these huge spray bottles out full of chemicals and were putting the nozzles on etc---right where my open drink was sitting...I told them that this wasn't safe and that I am also sensitive to chemicals on top of that and to remake it--so they began to remake it, and then the guy working there sprayed all the trays with tons of foamy chemicals...and just let them sit there...while customers were still coming in..and ordering drinks- then they remade my drink-- with the open chemicals just sitting there....and lots of foamy spray on cutting boards just sitting right there in the open...and made it right next to those boards...needless to say my drink was full of chemical residue, especially for those who might be sensitive in the first place, and the person did not even clean the chemicals off, and jsut let them sit while making drinks right there...maybe it is not that bad or the worst, but this is not safe for some people's health to have potential chemical residue in their drinks, and I'm not sure why these people just did not care, esp after a customer already expressed that they were allergic...I'm just outright irritated because I had to end up throwing my drink away and getting sick from it as well...and being exposed to so many chemicals that were just sitting out there while they are making customer's drinks...I just hope they have better cleaning practices in the future and do not spray chemicals or use chemicals where there are open drinks and while they are making drinks, and not even cleaning the spray off but just letting it sit there...

In addition to the report--its not saying that star bucks in general or this
Store sprays chemicals around people's drinks--they don't obviously,
They have very good service and are very clean and customer
orientedbut a lot of restaurants
And places may carelessly do things like that without thinking
And it's not a big deal but for people who are sensitive to chemicals
It isn't good for them, especially, so just bringing to the attention
That they and many other places that may occasionally do that should
Just be more attentive to thatagain it isn't a big issue, and every
Restaurant out there that does that should just be more aware of
It.also have never had a problem with this location with anything
They are always attentive, nice, professionaland do a good job

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing when I saw "anon - Orlando"....Melissa is back at it!!! I think she definitely is improving because the "old" Melissa would have said:

"Some crazy psycho rude lazy female was spraying chemicals all around my drink and when I told her to remake it she threw it on me, burning my clothes and skin and then cursed at me and spit in my face before the crazy psycho remade the drink and then shoved it across the counter at me..." etc etc.

Good job Melissa! and I totally agree with your take on the chemical thing too Robert.

Well Melissa this was the most sane report I think you have written. Hopefully this is a sign that you got(or are getting) the "help" that you needed.

Unfortunatly with your past reports it is hard to tell if this is the entire story, or it happened exactly as you said. I will say that if you are sensitive to chemicals you should really not eat at any public resturant. Because there is always going to be some residue from cleaning chemicals the workers use on tables, trays, or counters. The only difference here is that you saw them using them.
