Starmark Financial/ powerpoint FRAUD!! Lewis mccgregregor is a scam artist!! Too good to be true. DONT TRUST! Morriston Ontario, Canada
I am a nursing student and really needed money and to my suprise I receive a check in the mail for $4890.00. Wow that could pay some of my tuition, so I thought, but my mom always said if its too good to be true it probably is. The letter said I was a winner in the shopping sweepstakes held on March 5th. It said they had had unsuccessful attempts to contact me. I had won $250,000 and the enclosed check was to pay taxes on my winnings before I would get my big check.
It said call before cashing, so I called a guy named Lewis Mcgregor, he answered on the 2nd ring, asks my name and my claim number which is the same as everyone elses....DH/SUL-0011. He said congrats, now take your check to the bank and deposit it, call him again when I got back. I asked if the check would clear and he yelled at me and said, yes the check will clear, do it now and have a good day!!! Now that is a total scam!!!! Of course I checked the bank that the check was drawn off of which was Peoples United Bank which is a real bank, but they could not verify the funds for me.
DONT FALL FOR THE SCAM. TRUST ME I WISHED IT WERE REAL!!
