I CONCUR WILL ALL I HAVE READ ABOUT THESE PEOPLE ON THIS WEBSITE. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY WHO CLAIMS TO SELL "TIMESHARES" IN LAS VEGAS. IN SHORT THIS IS THE LETTER WE SENT TO THEM.

Mr. Vasey, We purchased a timeshare from your Las Vegas folks in May 7, 2005. We just received the packet that they promised us 4 months earlier. We received this packet August 31, 2005 (Wake Island time) please see attached copy of postmark. We have been very patient; I have made numerous calls wondering what happened to our packet since we didn't even know what we had purchased. I called the office you had on Paradise Road and the receptionist said they had mailed it out to us and it had gotten returned. I believe you send them ground UPS, but not sure.

Anyhow instructions were given to these folks that this had to be mailed US Priority Mail prior to our departure from Las Vegas since we live in a very remote military island in the middle of nowhere and our mail could sometimes take weeks to get here, but somehow communication broke down somewhere.

Our chief complaint is not this, however we never got our first 3days to review our purchase with the option of canceling our transaction in good standing. We have now reviewed our packet just yesterday, and we are very disappointed in the way your representatives presented the information to us. It was done in a very misleading manner.

We are not new to the timeshare scene since we own a timeshare with the Jockey Club since 1988 and satisfied with most of their services for the most part. Not only did you mislead us into thinking that your point/credit system was better, but you also had us believing that an average week with RCI resorts would cost us 4-5000 credits approximately per/wk. This is totally wrong since the resorts you are talking about are not 5-star quality, and if we wanted a resort of this quality we would have to have more like 90,000 credit/per/wk. Your sales reps assured us that they were all top quality.

My husband and I remember asking your folks about this points/credits system since we suspected the catch lied underneath this. Well we came to find out that it does, and although I know your folks have to make a sales pitch, we bought this timeshare under the wrong impression. I can tell you now that if we had had a chance to review this packet at the time of purchase, we would've been able to tell you that we had no need for it. Why would we purchase an average of 15,000 points which would amount to approximately 1-3 days of vacation time (if we're even lucky under your system) for $9000, and continue to pay $400 approximately in maintenance fees for the remainder of the 45yr period?

This is insane! Some of your RCI resorts are up 93,000 points per week and some per day. We would need 100,000 points minimum to obtain the quality of a resort that we now have with the Jockey Club and Interval International. We have experienced that; we know the quality that we have with 5-Star resorts all over the world. We just thought we were buying an extra week of this. Your point system doesn't work for us at all. This is the 2nd day of our review on what we bought, so we are asking for a refund, minus your minimal fees for services of course, on our down payment.

This is not a threat, but if we cannot resolve this matter diplomatically, then we will have no other choice than to seek legal guidance.

We went in there in good faith, and not only did we not receive good service, but you mislead us through your sales pitch into thinking something totally different than what it actually turned out to be.

I have contacted our bank to stop payment on the maintenance fee and the regular scheduled payment. I am sorry this did not work out. Your salesmen need to be a little more honest with people. As consumers, we deserve that right.

IF YOU ARE IN LAS VEGAS, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS GEO HOLIDAY GROUP! WE HAVE CONTACTED AN ATTORNEY AND SHE HAS NOT BEEN VERY HELPFUL DUE TO LEGAL TERMS,CLAUSE,ETC., NOT SURE WHY? BUT WE NOW THAT WE KNOW WE ARE NOT ALONE. WE WILL PURSUE THIS TIL NO END.

WHY DONT YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY GEO HOLIDAY PAY THEM BACK.ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS, ATTEND A MEETING, AND AS SOON AS IT STARTS, STAND UP AND TELL EVERYONE ELSE AT THE SALES PRESENTATION WHAT A SCAM IT IS. YOU CAN HAVE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS DO IT ON A DAILY BASIS, EVERY DAY TO DISRUPT THEIR BUSINESS.GET AHOLD OF EVERY ONE ON THIS WEBSITE THAT WAS RIPPED OFF BY GEO HOLIDAY STARPOINT RESORTS. THEY ARE NOW LOCATED IN THE ROYAL HOTEL AND CASINO ON CONVENTION CENTER DRIVE. PHONE NUMBER 702 735 6117. IF YOU SPEND SOME TIME IN VEGAS THIS WOULD BE A WAY TO PAY THEM BACK AND HURT THEIR BUSINESS,BY STOPPING THEM FROM SCAMMING ANYONE ELSE,AND HURTING THEM IN THEIR WALLETS. LIKE I SAID PAYBACK.

StarPoint in Las Vegas has been VACATED as well!

Me and my husband have already submitted our *RipOffReport* regarding StarPoint & GEO Holiday. It is unfair that so many of us have been scammed by MIKE MULDOON (president) & salesmen like (STEVE MONTGOMERY). I am very excited to give you all an update on this FRAUDULENT Company!

1. Tuesday, April 25th, 2006.
Around 4:30pm in the parking lot of StarPoint (on Paradise Rd. in LV) my husband (Jose) was pickiting and ran into STEVE MONTGOMERY and his girlfriend (natalie). STEVE approached my husband with a "perplexed" look (obviously the president, MIKE MULDOON, LIED about reprimanding STEVE MONTGOMERY for LYING)and asked my husband "whats wrong?" My husband calmly explained to him that the TimeShare Purchase DID APPEAR ON OUR CREDIT REPORTS AFTER STEVE MONTGOMERY *SWORE* IT WOULD NOT!!! After a few minutes this is what that idiot said "i may have said that..." Disgusting! That this is the way they conduct business.

2. We have been in contact with local news channels, radio stations and plan to place an ad in the local RJ Newspaper informing the community of the FRAUDULENT practices this business is conducting. We have been in contact with lawyers in Canada (they currently have a Civil LawSuit being brought against them)More research has produced a case against their FRAUDULENT business practices in the state of Florida. They have changed names about 5-7 times in the past few years (i could go on and on about all the crap i have uncovered about this disgusting company on the internet)

Now for the LATEST UPDATE!......
***On Sunday, May 7th, 2006 - my husband spoke with that LIER, STEVE MONTGOMERY (on his cell phone, he is still working out of Mesquite Nevada)sometime in the morning and this is how the conversation went - "jose, i spoke with MIKE MULDOON & KIM in ACCOUNTING at STARPOINT and they said they are taking care of your situation." my husband responded with "they have not handled anything, we have not spoken with them in weeks." my husband asked him one more time "are you going to void the entire deal because of your Lie?" STEVE MONTGOMERY said there is nothing he can do. my husband responded with "the public will be made aware of your DECEIT AND FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES, you and your SCAMMING COMPANY will not get away with this."

After that me and my husband decided to go to STARPOINT and PICKIT for a few hours - At 1:10pm we walked up to the doors and they were LOCKED! THE ENTIRE OFFICE WAS EMPTY! They are no longer there!!! So, we called the number, it was a recording! wow. surprise. surprise. ONLY A SHADY, DECEITFUL, FRAUDULENT COMPANY would do that! Im not done - We spoke with a security guard in the parking lot and he proceeded to inform us "they were only there for 8-10 months AND they were AFFILIATED with the "company" a few doors down (Suite 2216) *RESORT STAY TRAVEL* - take a guess what we found in there?!?!?! ANOTHER LOCKED DOOR AND IT WAS EMPTY JUST LIKE MIKE MULDOON AND STEVE MONTGOMERYS HEADS!

In conclusion - Me and my husband will not give up fighting to have this FRAUDULENT CONTRACT VOIDED! We will track them down and when we find them we will announce it on the internet and put it in the local newspaper, so that everyone will know that they are SCAMMERS AND CHEATS AND LIERS! They have not seen nor heard the last of us. If anyone out there has been SCREWED by them - DONT GIVE UP - WE WILL BRING THEM DOWN!

WE GOT RIPPED OFF, TOO

#7Consumer Comment

WE live in Vancouver, WA and got ripped off, too. We also didn't get our packet until after the cancellation period and even when I called and wrote people, I got no where.

When I tried to call the StarPoint office here, the phone was disconnected. I tried calling the salesman and he said he was on vacation and couldn't help me. I called numerous times to GeoHoliday, RCI and StarPoint. I also contacted MBLA who they used as to finance the purchase. I cried and begged to get out of this contract.

I told them how were were promised the moon and absolutely NONE of it was true. After talking to a zillion people and telling people what a rip off they are, StarPoint came up with a partial solution. They refunded out initial $1,900 for the trial RCI and then agreed to pay our maintenance fee for 5 years. As soon as the 5 years are up, we hope to try to sell it to someone.

To make the public more aware please contact your state attorney general's office. File a complaint with your state and the state where you were shown the package and in florida where the home office is. Make your legislators and the Better Business Bureau aware of the tactics representatives for these companies are using to sell their packages. Ask that the rescission date be expanded due to this being a substantial "investment" for some consumers to give their financial advisor and an attorney the opportunity to look over the consumers investment.

Thank you,

A Real Solution

#7Consumer Suggestion

Wed, March 08, 2006

My suggestion is that if a real solution is sought to this problem that we must make it known legally in numbers. If you have been a victim of this company as I have please let me know what you are doing about it. Your silence won't solve anything. Venting is good but doesn't solve anything. I need to find someone that has filed a lawsuit against Starpoint Resorts because I am getting ready to do the same.
