Customer comment - Deception  -  We are another couple - victims of the GEO Holiday/Starpoint fraud.  Starpoint sales reps Denise Brown and Pat Guerin sold us a package of what they thought we wanted to hear which when we read the actual booklets were completely different, resulting in many hidden fees with other associated companies.  When trying to resolve the differences between the two on the 5th day of the cancellation period (Saturday), the persons identified in the package to be contacted for us to question the conflicted discrepancies (Jeanette Nilsen - GEO Holidays and Julie Jones - Starpoint) could not be reached.  We left messages with no response received.  Because we could not get in touch with these persons, we made a decision to cancel the agreement.  On the 6th day (Sunday), we sent a FAX notifying Starpoint of our cancellation of the contract due to complete misrepresentation of the workings of GEO Holiday/RCI/Jockey Club, the associated additional hidden costs, and the inability to reach persons identified as contact persons.  We told them that we will  not be responsible/liable for this agreement within the 5 days cancellation period since GEO Holiday/Starpoint persons identified in the contractual package were not available within this period to resolve discrepancies.  Since our credit card company has denied them the so called monthly payments which we never signed up or approved of, we are now getting calls all times of the day and night from Equiant Financial Services, which is a payment processor, saying we owe them money.  We told them to "GET LOST", our agreement has been canceled.  Looking at all the other complaints of people on various websites of being ripped off or sucked in (like us) by GEO Holiday/Starpoint, we support a Class Action suit be filed.  We are also in the process of filing a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General's office to initiate an investigation into these fraudulent companies.
