I will keep this simple, yet to the point. Please stay FAR, FAR away from Becki Starr. She's also known under Rebecca Starr, Becki Kononchik, Becki Denton, and Kelly Adams. Becki owns Starr Equestrian Center which has also been called Denton Equestrian Center and Precious Memories Equestrian Center. She has moved the location of her Equestrian Center 4 times in less than 2 years. Becki resides in Groton, CT with her fiance Chad Denton and Brian Kononchik. The number one complaint while she leases a barn is non payment / late payments. Yes, I used to work for Becki Starr but I gave her another chance! Not only can she not afford to feed the horses that are boarded with her, she relies on other people to clean up stalls (which sometimes they go a few days without being cleaned). Anyways, how she maintains her Equestrian Center isn't my main concern. Fun fact, Rebecca Starr has animal cruelty charges in Rhode Island which you can look up using their online records (use her legal name). Becki Starr is false advertising horses, again. I just recently bought a horse off of her. I was initially told she was 3.5 years old and a Friesian / Morgan / QH cross who was from Cloud 9. Upon contacting Cloud 9, they confirmed my horse I bought was NOT on of theirs. Becki told me my horse was papered but Phoenix Jump of Jumpp Equestrian Center had the registration papers to my horse. Becki stated Phoenix was mad at her and wouldn't turn over her my horses papers. I contacted Phoenix and Miss Jump confirmed my horse never had papers. I was also supposed to buy my horses "sister" from Becki Starr as well. We had a contract signed in front of a witness. A few days later she turned around and sold the sister to a nice lady. I contacted the nice lady and she confirmed Becki was not an honest person. Becki false advertised this nice lady's horse as well but she was actually papered. Becki told me my horse was this nice lady's horse full sister. Upon research, my horse has no records and she was not what Becki said she was. There are many people who have been scammed. Becki has scammed a rescue selling off their horses without knowledge as well (bucks pride rescue can confirm what's she's done). Please steer clear of this crazy lady! No one needs to get hurt having her false advertise them a horse.
