DO NOT use this so called "super producer" by the name of Jamaine Banks. He is the owner of a fake company called START YOUR OWN BUSINESS. He is the son of Larry Banks who also run a scam business called Banks brothers productions. Jamaine works out of Houston Media Source which is located at 410 Roberts St, Houston, TX 77003, his phone number is 713-922-7696. He will lie and tell you that he owns the Houston Media Source studio when in actuality he does not. He only rents the airtime which a lot of legitimitate producers do or better yet anyone can rent the Houston Media Source. This so call producer is known to seduce new up and coming female business owners by selling you a fraudulent dream to steal your money that he will get you your own television show and film a commercial for you that will air on all major urban television cable networks. He even went as far as to put the logos of all of the urban cable networks on his business cards to fool people that he is a “producer” with the networks in order for people to do business with him (which is illegal because you can’t have a company or a major company network logo on your advertisement without that company/network permission). Which you can contact the television networks customer service numbers of the logos that he is illegally using on his business cards to win you over & they too will inform you that they never heard of him. Nor does his business cards has a physical address on it, or any website, but instead their personal email address which is STARTYOUROWNBUSINESS@GMAIL.COM that alone is a give a way right there. What “legit” business does not have an address on their business cards but instead uses their personal email address, REALLY….@GMAIL.COM...(stop fooling people) so that you can have a necessary way of contacting their supposedly “legitimate” business other than their personal number & in his case it’s his cellular number not even a business number SMDH. NOTE TO SELF ALWAYS ASK FOR RECEIPTS OF ANY PERSON WORK, which if they was legit their work will be accessible online as well as a website which of course they DO NOT have as a so called legitimate business, especially one that is called “START YOUR OWN BUSINESS”. I mean show us your work online on a legitimate website so that we can easily have access too.
This jamaine banks will go above and beyond just to take a picture with any high end people in Houston and then post it on his social media page to fool people that he knows ALLLLLL of these people personally & that he has worked with them, which is another way he builds his resume to fooling his next victim. It appears that he chooses his victim randomly which is why he does not mess with any man or do business with any man because he knows the consequences of cheating another man & a real man at that. Which is why ALL of his victims are all female entrepreneurs. jamaine banks will tell you anything that you want to hear just to get your money, which he does not provide any legal documentations or receipts after collecting your money from you to film a so call tv segments that he promise you that will help to promote your new business or even television commercials; that he does not even actually films or airs. Recently myself and some girlfriends drove in from St. Louis to Houston, TX where he promised us that we will have our own television show. After collecting our money and coming down to Houston, TX to film our so called television show that was supposed to air and boost our business this so called “producer” as he calls himself jamaine banks kept giving us the run arounds, not answering or returning our calls, no television show, or even returning our money.
It was later that we discovered that this is how he and his wife by the name of anika sheree phillips banks (which he met and married straight out of the penitentiary within 17 days of meeting her while walking wandering on the streets, which he proudly brags about). anika sheree phillips banks works hand in hand with him and makes a living by scamming female entrepreneurs along side with her husband of 17 days jamaine banks. Myself and my group of girlfriends that came to Houston to meet with the so called producer jamaine banks, one of my girlfriends found out that this jamaine banks is a 3X convicted felon who led the Houston police on a chase back in 2010. Which he was indicted of aggravated assault of a public servant, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and evading arrest with a vehicle.He is charged with Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer, Felony Evading with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Firearm (Convicted Felon). Additionally Harris County will be adding charges of their own.Banks has a lengthy criminal history.
On September 21, 2009 he was sentenced to 10 years probation for DWI. On September 3, 2009 he was convicted of Assaulting a family member, criminal mischief, terroristic threats. which can be verified on this link montgomerycountypolicereporter.com/chase-suspect-from-march-10-is-indicted/ His indictment from 2010 led him in prison for over 10 years which he was released early due to his good behavior SMDH, which he is still on parole till his day because of that. If you type his name on google you can view several other complaints on this con-artist theif. His deceitful actions have caused him to gain soooo many enemies throughout Texas, Lousianna, and now St. Louis of knowingly fraudulently taking people money. Once again this so called “producer” jamaine banks is nothing but a fraud who sells you a fake dream just to steal your money & not fulfill the dream/commitment that he sells you after he steals your money. He’s easily recognizeable, so please run the other way if he approaches you with a fraudulent dream. He’s a black male that is completely bald headed, with a black knot on the upper left side of his forhead that he got from prison after being knocked out, he has a bodybuilder physic (from when he was lifting weight in prison) that has now turned into fat to look identical to his partner in crime anika sheree phillips banks. All of my entrepreneurs especially my female entrepreneurs do your research on a company before using them and especially before paying them for services that they will not fulfill especially if they cannot show you on their company website receipts of work that they have done. Jamaine Banks from "START YOUR OWN BUSINESS" you have now been crown a certified FRAUD. You lie and steal female entrepreneurs money. You know better than to mess with a real man because you know that they will put you in your place. Please everyone DO NOT do business with this clown and definitely do not pay him in cash.
He doesn't have an honest job or career so he makes a living scamming people who are trying to get their business name out there. Also ask him to see just 1 commercial or so call plays that has aired on television with the certify transcript from the station so that you can contact the networks to verify his "supposedly" work. He also doesn't like Caucasian people and has stated several times that he will screw them up purposely. He's calling himself a business man but he's on here making threats.

This is an angry woman that have a company name Virgin International Hair which I put on rip off, this site, because she had me do commercial for her, then turn around and disputed her payment through pay-pal, I told her that I was not putting false information in the commercials, because I am not going back to prison for nobody. I've been to prison, yeah she is right about that. I told her because I thought she was a cool person. I even invited her to the television station where I produce most of my shows. She has a complaint on here also by somebody else about the hair she sells. She is an African lady that do not like black women at all.
I have incorporated over 400 businesses in Houston, Texas and other states. Customers get what they pay for, and reciepts. I have many people on my social media following that loves me, my wife and our business. Like my grandmother said people talked about Jesus. I just keep it moving. A post like this don't bother me because its not true other than I been to prison. She should be glad to see a black man get out and do many positive things in the community, but when a football player score a touch down, on one side the arena, you will have 10,000 people cheering and the other side there will be 10,000 booing.
This is the only woman complaining. Hating on me, because she thought I was going to be down with the slick s*** she wanted to do about advertising her bad products that take women hair out. See how she is calling my wife fat that is not professional. My wife did nothing to her neither did I. She did this to try to hurt me and my business. Her name is Kenny and she owns a company called Virgin International Hair. The truth is I am not on Parole and never have been. She will not mention her name because she wants to throw a rock and hide. I am out here making a difference in my community. I'm glad to be doing positive things in the community. People like her just care about getting money from our community and never giving nothing back. I help hundreds of people, but i've learned in life you cant make everybody happy. I have very successful show here in Houston, Texas.

I start nonprofits, im one of the only companies in Houston that get LLCs, Nonprofits and Incorporation's back the next day from the Secretary of State. 501(c)3s take a max of 2 months to be approved from the IRS. Now that's funny she's talking about I have a knot on my head from getting Knocked out in prison like she was there. I have a birth mark on my forehead that been there for life, but Kenny says that to turn people away from doing business with me. That's what people do when that are Jealous. Now she said they came from St. Louis. What happen, she was at the television station when these two ladies that came in from St. Louis to film a show. I also filmed a show with Kenny, my wife and two other friends that I never did air because the footage was not on point because I had only been a producer for like two months and was just learning the business three years ago. I wanted it to look right. But see my Facebook page. I film/and edit good shows. She did not pay a dime. I was new at being a producer and was happy to put my people on television. She never gave me a dime. I did not charge anyone. It’s public access, people can give donation or sponsorship but I did not ask anything from her and anyone because I was still learning.
People that we associate with have love and respect for me that's on my Facebook page. I’m really just explaining because she is lying and hating on me because she got jealous when she saw so many other women dealing with me after I use to give her a lot of time and attention. All I can say is yes I been to prison but I never messed over my people or anyone else, but I’m good people and do good business and know that the devil cant curse me when God continually is blessing me.
