Many reports have been placed here about Startup Essentials and A1 Leasing. Many want to know a way out. I've been scammed too. I think I've found a legal no cost method to NULLIFY the contract! The lease I have with Startup Essentials is not with Startup Essentials BUT ONLY with A1 Leasing. Here lies the important part:

Check your bank statements and see if Bond Corp is charging your account.
If so, this is a violation of:
1. The contract - Bond Corp is not the company I made the contract with, it was only A1 Leasing.
2. No statement that A1 Leasing was to use an outside withdrawl corp nor any other company to transfer your money from your account to theirs. My bank said that since I did NOT give Bond Corp expressed consent to make withdrawls form my bank account that Bond Corp is in direct violation of the banking laws of the United States. This is theft!
3. I have stopped the payments at my bank (like a stop payment on a check).
4. I have sent the computer back today (9/5/2008). And of course have not heard anything yet. I also contacted Steve and Laurie at A1 Leasing several times this week regarding this "illegallity" and have received no call or communications. I sent a letter regarding this with the return of the product.

Hope this will help.
I WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED!

Startup Essentials, A1-Leasing, Bond Corp

DO NOT PAY THOSE THEIVES, THEIR ATTORNEY OR ANYONE CONNECTED TO A1. THEY HAVE NO LEGAL BASIS FOR RECEIVING PAYMENTS FROM YOU BASED ON A CONTRACT WITH YOU STARTUP ESSENTIALS/A1 LEASING.

After returning the computer, and sending a letter that included a statement that my attorney sent me regarding the lease's invalidity, I received a reply from A1's attorney. Basically he told me that the contract was valid even though I did not authorize Bond Corp to debit my checking account IN WRITING, but I was told over the phone that Bond Corp would be debiting my account. However, I had sent a letter to the NC Banking authorities in the mean time.

They told me that in most states it takes expressed written or electronic consent for companies to debit accounts (it is so in NC). If you look at your CONTRACT, you will not see any thing regarding "ACH" withdrawls from anyone other than A1-Leasing. A phone conversation is never a valid contract when there is a valid written contract. This is still the way out. Also, the Contract is a multipart contract. It is between me and Startup Essentials/A1-Leasing.
Startup Essentials is no longer in business. Therefore the contract is nullified because eventhough I signed individuals parts of the contract the first part re. Startup Essentials is void thus making the entire contract void.

I placed a stop payment order on my checking account for A1-Leasing, Bond Corp and 10 Bond Corp. This has eliminated all payments since October. I have not received requests for payment, just a suggestion to settle any discrepencies with A1. HA! HA! HA! I was stupid, some lawyer thinks I'm stupid enough to settle?

DO NOT FALL FOR Heiss's (attrny - A1) suggestion for payment.
He cannot cause you any harm -- No individuals have been sued, based on extensive research. DO NOT PAY THOSE THEIVES, THEIR ATTORNEY OR ANYONE CONNECTED TO A1.

STOP PAYING Startup Essentials, USA Card Services, A1 Leasing, James One, Robert Harris, Opti-Groove

#3Consumer Suggestion

Tue, October 07, 2008

If you are still paying money to Startup Essentials, USA Card Services, A1 Leasing, James One, Opti-Groove or anyone else associated with these folks STOP STOP STOP!!!

The company went out of business in March of 2007. They are no longer supporting their clients as per the contract you have signed. You can legally claim Abandonment / Breach of Contract and do not have to pay a single dime more.

There is a Class Action Lawsuit being filed in Dallas Texas against the company and the CEO/Owner Robert Harris. I use to work there and I have talked to other former employees that have been questioned and have already testified against the company. I would list the name of the Law Firm filing the suit but it appears that RipOff Report removes that kind of info. If you are interested in joining the suit just do a little searching on the Internet and you will find the info you are looking for. You may not get much out of it once all the Lawyer fees and court costs are paid, probably only a fraction of what you have already paid, but you DO NOT have to PAY ANYMORE MONEY TO THEM!!!
