A person hit my car doing lane change. Side damaged. Exchanged insurance info. Both of us had same insurance company-State farm. Called claims department. Gave report. Told me I am covered. Car taken to collision repair. Obtained rental car from Hertz. Took my debit card info. When arrived to pick up repaired car was told I owed 500 dollars. No one told me. Syate farm said thats how policy is. Had to wait additional week for paycheck to pay.  Staye farm said will give extension on rental never mentioned a deadline on rental coverage. Got car week later. Left rental there. Two weeks later - found 518 dollats taken out my account by Hertz without consent. They told me coverage expired so I owed. Refused to send reciept or invoice of charges. Bank told me nothing they can do and  State Farm just kept emphasising I signed their contract. Unaware I didnt need additional insurance coverage and expiration of car rental coverage. Now I am out one thousand dollars for an incident I did not cause. Claims department is putting no effort to reimburse any amount at all. Now what ?
