Contractor Eduardo Rodriguez (State General Contractor) pulled permits to complete a job where a new asphalt driveway and a basketball court would be installed. The job was completed with very poor quality and both the driveway and basketball court started falling apart 2-3 weeks after installation.

In addition to poor quality, the job has not passed inspection by the city of Plantation and the permits were never closed out and as of last month have been canceled.

Despite over 30 phone calls and messages over the past several months we have been unable to get Eduardo Rodriguez to rectify the situation. He tells us that he will come out or send someone else and no one ever comes. He keeps giving us the run around to stall us.

The contract that was signed with Eduardo Rodriguez states that the asphalt would be 1 inch thick. It is barely 1/4 inch thick in some spots and has started to erode away and grass is growing through.

In addition, they destroyed a large area of our lawn with their equipment. The soil in the lawn has sunken in by as much as 6-7 inches in some spots, making it very dangerous for anyone, including my young son, to play in the yard because they can trip and fall.
