I had been unemployed for a yer and a half when i heard about State National Training Services, Inc. they kept talking about "We" during the seminar, like if they were really a state endorsed trainng facility. I did the mistake of signing up without checking them out or I would have known they were a fraud from the beggining.
During the seminar, they explained that the program runs about 3-4 months, then they would help you with your federal resume, and job applications. if you did not get a job you would get a refund, and even if you did get a job, and somehow lost it within the year you could get a refund. Well, I stated in August and continued until AApril when I finally gave up. That was 9 months of pakets of homework, and i still had not heard anything about jobs or testing. So I called them and tolod them I wanted a refund. They said NO WAY. I then filed a complaint with the Federal trade Commission, and then I recieved a letter that it was my fault I did not finish the program in 3-4 months, so I could not get a refund and I still owed the balance.
I could not complete it in that time frame because they did not send me my pakets right away, usually 7-10 ndays, and once it took 2 1/2 weeks. So no it was not my fauolt. I have written a second complaint with the fFederal Trade Commission. We will see what happens. please don't fall for their sales pitch, they are frauds.

I would like to add to a prior response I had for the complaint on this institution. I took this course, as I mentioned before and got all the information during the course and when you sumit test, they send you new test and a your booklets for study. You done various studies and test as you turned test in. They always sent me back my completed test with my grades as well as any area I had trouble with along with comments on my test.
I don't know where these people are coming from but that's how it worked. At the end they also sent information on where to find jobs, information about how to apply for the government jobs, as well as the applications and so on for jobs. I got so much information to help me in studies, during my course study as well as what all they said they would send at the end. When you complete the course and they send you your final test score, that is when they sent you all the information you needed for job searches, even the job digest booklets.........Also if you had anything you never received back like test or anything......well for starters any test or information you sent into them you ALWAYS had to put your student ID number on all correspondence as well as test on everything you sent in. I never had a issue or problem with anything and as promised they delivered everything they said they would. I even got my certificate of completion along with my graduate letter and all the supplies needed to find a government job. So maybe it's where the ones who are complaining didn't do something right like leave off their student numbers, when submitting stuff, or didn't really have the interest in it anyway.

I don't see what the one's listing the complaints are about regarding this institution. I myself have been a student of this institution as I went to the seminar they had here in my state. It was totally up to the indiviual if you wanted to sign up to get more education and do the home study course to get a better job involved with the government.
The cost is alot cheaper than if you went to college or took this course threw other means, plus they covered several topics in this course from government to law enforcement to help you better get jobs in these fields.
I took this education course and got all the studies I needed threw out this course as I took test and exams for each section. I completed my course in 1 year with the hours needed to get completed certification. All of this was explained during the seminar and it was up to the indiviuals who enrolled. If a person was not willing to study and stay with this course then that fell on you whether you wanted to take this serious and better your chances of getting a more educated job. I have been well satisfied with what all I received along with my grades, study material and everything they sent me because I was determined to stay with it til completion. So either the ones who complained didn't want to take the time to do this course, or was not serious about it. So that's just my input, but before you complain, define yourself on the basis of this is something maybe you really didn't want to do from the start.
