State Wide Security Protection Inc. (Scott Hemming, Pamela Mercier) rip-off! Their illegal practices put home owners at risk. Auburn Massachusetts
Anyone who has had this company to install alarms systems has put your home and family at risk of future fire. I worked for this company for several months as an installer. They hired me knowing I didn't have an electrical license to to such work, but promised I was covered under theirs and would help me get mine.
Well after several months working for them and being mistreated by the owners, I decided to check into them. come to find out, that the board of Electrial licensure of Massachusetts, has no license listed for this company or its chief officer, scott hemming. With further checking into jobs that I installed, they never pulled electrial permits on ANY of my jobs. Looked a little further back because of a co-worker who has worked with them for 2 years (and also does not have a license), same with his jobs, no permits pulled unless the home was under new construction. So these homes have NEVER been inspected for fire safety by electrical inspectors, which has put all these homeowner and business owners at risk.
Also the company labels all installers as Sub-contractors. which is not the case, so they can avoid paying taxes and insurances on the installers. One installer broke his arm on the job after taking a 20 foot fall. they never reported this to the dept. of industrial accidents and in order to keep him from sueing them, they offer him a little extra money to help his medical expenses and a company truck if he kept his mouth shut. or threaten him with total job loss.
On top of this when i asked for my final pay when i left, they told me i was a sub-contractor, i told them i was not, because of the guidelines the IRS sets. I was told what to do, when to do it, how to do it, what to use and what time frames to have it completed by. all installers are told this. no contracts were ever signed and no certificates of insurances were asked of me or any other intallers. if you damaged someones house in any way it came out of your pay, or they would with hold your pay until the repairs were made by the homeowners chosen contractor.
These use treat tactics to scare "employees" to perform work and when things are not done to guidelines they make up as they go, they refuse to pay. Installers, don't work for the ADT dealer! Homeowners find another ADT for your alarm work. Homeowners already installed by them, call your local electrical inspector, ask if permits were pulled when your house was installed, then file complaints with your inspector and PLEASE have your house inspected ASAP! then call ADT to file a complaint and if your want you can break your contract because of this and call another company to switch over your monitoring and stop paying the over inflated $33.00 a month. most companies charge $20 to $25. Bottomline, this company is putting peoples lives at risk!

Bobby was a subcontractor for State Wide Security for about one month - One day he never showed up for an install he was scheduled to do for State Wide Security. In his possession he had over $4,000 of security equipment belonging to State Wide Security. We attempted to contact him many times and he ignored our phone calls.
We then filed a complaint in Worcester District Court and won many sessions.
On January 3, 2006 he was ordered to pay by the court $200.00 upfront and then $100 per month beginning 2/1/06 until paid in full.(docket#200462SC002721)
On May 22, 2006 he failed to show up for the payment review and the court ordered another capias judgment against him with the Worcester Sheriff's Department. (Docket No.200462SC002720)
As of this date we have received no monies and none of the equipment that was stolen by BOBBY GIANETTA and he is still walking free probably unemployed again. All of the above information can be found in the Worcester District Court located in Worcester, Massachusetts.
