I was taken for 69.00 to a web service that gives you a list of loans you are eligible for. After paying the 69.00 I did get a list of possible loans. I selected one named Statewide Loans. I applied to this company which looked totally legit. After they promise a response within 48 hours I receive a phone call from a loan agent for Fidelity Loans. At first I really believed this person to be from statewide for she had my name cell phone # how much I was applying for and address. She also knew other information that only would show on my credit report and the loan application.

Fidelity loans then stated I was approved for the 5000.00 and went on to explain the interest rate, payments etc. The only condition was that I had to make the first 5 payments up front totaling 1000.00 and my loan would be funded the following day. I had them fax me the loan application and I would look it over. The application looked legit and the person on the phone sounded legit also. I then decided to do some research on this company and up pops your reports from others taken by this Florida based company. Thank God for your report or I may have gone thru with the loan.

After finding out about this fraud I contacted the original web page badcredit-loans and request a full refund. I stated that they need to do better research on the loan co. they recommend because one of them at least was a scam. They replied that no refund would be issued unless I was denied by at least 3 of the loan company's on the list.

I replied that due to my personal information being sent to a scam and now I had to put a fraud alert on my credit reports and cancel my debit card I would not risk trying any of the other loan co. on the list and would not be getting a denial from fidelity loans since they are a scam.

They responded that they did not recommend a fidelity loans.

I stated that Statewide loans must be also fidelity loans due to them having all the information on my loan request. They stated that I needed to contact Statewide loans to get a denial. After 2 tries at e-mailing Statewide (no phone numbers listed) I again get a call from Fidelity loans.

I gave fidelity loans a piece of my mind and told them I would be filing a fraud alert on them.

I truly believe that badcredit-loans, statewide loans and fidelity loans are all part of the same scam.
