We made the mistake of using this company to move our furniture from Georgia to Massachusetts. The movers showed up with a full truck and the original estimate increased 1000.! They ran out of room on the truck and my wife and I ended up taking a recliner, nightstand, shelves and boxes that were on the original manifest and supposedely figured into the quote, however nothing was taken off the price. The movers took my Visa debit card for the initial payment. A day after I received news my credit card slip was lost, with all my information on it with no explanation or apology. The manager Reuban Moore told me he would refund the initial 1300. and remove the cost of using a credit card? After this he demanded cash payments only and refused to take credit card payments even though the contract states he accepts credit card payments.

Upon delivery he demanded my wife go and wire him cash before he would unload the truck. When our stuff was taken off the truck everything was broken, the dining room table and all the chairs re destroyed! All the hardware on our bedroom furniture was ripped off and bent. The driver told me where they picked up the furniture at Mr.Moore's establishment everything is basically thrown in a huge pile! That is from the Driver himself. Anyone out there who have suffered as a result of Statewide Vanlines I suggest we band together and put Mr. Moore out of business for good!
