Company showed up a day and a half late to move us. We had contracted for them to pack and unpack our household goods. Upon arrival they informed us that we had more household goods than they had expected and it would cost us another $4,000.00 for the move. Since we had 24 hours to move out to close on our house we had no choice but to pay. We then had them put our good in storage for 3 months until out new home was completed. We were told that this would be done in an environmentally controlled location. They sent two people to unpack us. Everything was filthy! They couldn't even put the beds together, so while I did that they put all the boxes in the garage, unpacked and left. After calling the office and getting nothing accomplished, we started unpacking ourselves. We found a lot of damage. My smoker was crushed, furniture broken, scratched, or damaged beyond repair. We I called the office I was given the phone number of their insurance company and told our business with them had been completed. After filling the proper form, taking picture of the damage, the insurance company offered us $108.00 in damage, biased on their estimate of weight. They told us that price of the items are not a consideration. So we lost crystal, alabaster, antiques, and I had to buy numerous things that could not be replaced.
