My daughters motorcylcle stopped running on interstate 85 near Lilburn, Ga.  She called for a tow.  She lives in Royston, Ga.  She called her dad who lives in Athens, Ga and explained the situation.  The tow driver brought her to Walmart at my request because I felt that Walmart would be easier to find instead of the Wrecker service shop.  My daughter went into Walmart with her ATM card and got $100 in cash.  The tow was for $85.  She gave the money to the driver but he did not credit it to her account.  The company is asking for $85 again for a tow she already paid.  The driver pocketed the money.

Sorry for not being clear in the original report.  The motorcycle was towed to storage.  She was about 80 miles from home and needed a ride from her dad to get back to Royston from Lilburn (mapquest says 77 miles).

Well you got one of to things hear , ether one of them has cost you $85 .

Your Daughter now knows to get a receipt especially when dealing with cash .

Or she is just trying to get anther $85 out of you.

I know you think " my daughter would not do that to me " but lets get real.

all tow truck drivers carry receipt books in there trucks and if he had the bike he would have kept it for collateral for the tow .
she might be the one who pocketed the money.

Your daughter's motocycle stopped but she called her Dad?  Did she pay him? Did she not get a receipt? Sounds fishy to me.
