Bought Stauer watch from add in news paper. Paid $100 thinking I was finally upgrading from $10-20 watches from cvs. Stopped working for unexplained reason within a month.

Sent back for repair/replace for $25 or $30. Returned piece stopped workig again and setting pin broke.

Have already spent 25-30% of original price on repair and won't spend 60%+.

Seems to me that quality of product is low and "repair fee" is built into their cost model. If these were true quality watches, they would fix for free when it breaks so easily (and it probably wouldn't break). Save yourself time and money and stick with cheap cvs watches until you can buy a true quality watch for several hundred. Stauer looks nice but isn't worth buying.
