Billing for long distance service appeared on my wifes checking account a few months ago. I called their number, got an answering service and they said I would not be billed again. But I must write the company in Tampa to get a refund for the other months. I did that but the charges appeared on the next bank statement.

The comfusing thing is I have directed the phone company that there would be NO long distance service on the line and they show none selected. Neither I NOR my wife have given Stay-in-Touch Long Distance the data for auto deduct from her bank account and I can not reach anybody in the company to cancel the account or get a refund for the unwanted charges. There have been NO long distance calls made on this phone and for a period beginning 28 November neither I nor my wife have been at the location where the phone is.

We are at my business location staying in my appartment there. HOW DID THEY GET THE INFORMATION TO CHARGE HER ACCOUNT IN THE FIRST PLACE....... and how do you contact somebody to cancel the account and stop future billing?
