Steak-Out Delivers Raw & Possibly Tainted Beef ripoff Greenville South Carolina
On 5.21.06 I ordered $79.40 of dinners from Steak Out - they came to the house uneatable and bloody rare. After calling them they said they would send out coupons, after almost 2 weeks I called and they said the would take care of me that night and sent out another order. This time it was even WORSE it was BLOODY RAW! It was like a bad joke! We tried to reheat the steaks so we could eat them - however, both my daughter & I got physically sick after eating 1/2 the meal (as if the food was tampered). I immediately called back and the cook got on the phone sarcastically stating "what's the matter now?" - I called the owner the next day fully expecting a refund - who incredibly informed me that "he fed me twice" (sic) and I was not going to get a refund. I then had my attorney write with no response after a week. To make matter worse - over the past 4 years we've ordered from this location without incident at least 3-4 times per month!

to prepare your own meals?
I am the chef here and for two meals it costs us about
$6 for steak or salmon
$1 for veggies (frozen plain), plus pignolias (nuts), peppers, & crasins
$1 for 1 can each of tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes
$0.50 Spices and one green Jalapeno pepper
$0.50 energy to cook, LP bbq at rear of house
Chop Jalapeno with spices & dried peppers; blend into tomatoes & tomato sauce; add KC bbq sauce; add extra virgin olive oil; then use 1/2 of completed sauce on veggies and 1/2 on meat or salmon.
This adds up to what...$9 for two pepole, and it is one really fine meal.
