I just want someone to care that people get ripped off! It's almost like the law protects criminals. In February of 2006, I purchased on ebay a honeymoon package from pricerightvacations aka (Step Travel), owner Stephon Parrish for $2403.00. Months went by and I had not seen anything so I called him. He gave me some excuses and a few months later sent me an itinerary. My now wife and I were supposed to leave for our dream honeymoon on July 30, 2006. I do not come from a wealthy family. I busted my but doing honest, sometimes free hard work after hurricane Katrina. Every dime I saved went towards our honeymoon. A week before the wedding, I called the airlines to check on the tickets from the itinerary he sent. He was going to purchase this through Gogo worldwide vacations. When I called they said the trip had been cancelled by Mr. Parrish. I have called him numerous times and got nothing but excuses. I did not get to go to Hawaii, and this lying scam artist still has my money ( I have a bank printout of this transaction). I called the bank and they said up to 60days I could make a claim, but they understood that I had no way of knowing this was a scam. This past weekend, my brother came for the wedding and found a page at the Better Business Bureau on this guy and his company saying he has conned some $30,000 out of people. It would be great to get my money back, but if I don't, I don't want this to happen to others. Thanks for your time.
