Ms Stephanie Wind, owner of Windsong, approached me (as barn manager for a Hermitage, PA Arabian Farm) about leasing our stallion, Moonlight Money Maker (MMM) for a year in June 2005. She rejected our standard lease arrangement and negociated a trade lease.

Ms.Wind wanted to trade for the lease and offered to train MMM for 12 months (value $6000), offered one of her stallions to us for the year, HAAP Ibn Farrago to breed to our mares (foal crop value $33,500), trade mare Fantasia Vu (value $6500) and HAAP Blue Lace's 2007 foal (value $3500).

Ms. Wind was to be able to breed 12 of her mares to MMM and get all mare care/vet fees from mare owners. We were supposed to bring MMM from PA to CO on August 12, 2005 and pick up HAAP Ibn Farrago at our expense ($2000+). Then Ms Wind was supposed to bring MMM, Fantasia Vu and HAAP Blue Lace's 2007 foal from CO to PA (and pick up HAAP Ibn Farrago) at her expense at the end of the year lease. _
All details had been worked out and Ms. Wind was actively advertising MMM as standing at her farm for the upcoming year in June 2006.

On August 6, 2006 a fellow breeder notified me that MMM was gone from Ms. Wind's website. When I called Ms. Wind, Ms. Wind attempted to extort additional breedings from us or "the deal was off and we would be our a year's foal crop if we didn't agree to her demands and she would make sure no ever bred to our stallion."

I refused to let her extort additional breedings from us and we were in fact out the year's foal crop, a year's training and travel costs we had already put into the trip for a total of $51,500.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and Ms. Wind's response was to call me and the farm owner a liar. The BBB closed the case as being disputed. I am in the process of trying to find an attorney who will take our case against her. I have all emails and notes take during all phone conversations as proof.

In the meantime, Ms. Wind has transfered most of her horses to The Elements Arabians owned by James Donald. Her boyfriend's name is James and I belive he is James Donald as the Elements Arabians has the same address as the empty office building Ms. Wind uses to hide her actual location. I belive the horses have been transfered to hide her assets as several people are trying to sue her.
