I broke my eyeglass frames so I went to Sterling Optical to get a new pair. They advertise $79 frames, $49 frames, etc. After waiting $10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon with no one in the shop, a dazed-looking saleswoman finally came out of the back. She seemed confused to see a customer.

I told her I wanted new frames. "We don't just sell frames," she said. "You have to buy lenses, too." Since this is a place that advertises frames for sale, I wondered how that could be, but she continued that if I had a prescription they could malke me lenses and frames. "When?" I said. She didn't know. Not today, she said.

Another customer who bought into this sucker scheme came in and asked for his glasses. It had been two weeks and he was promised them in 7 to 10 days. She couldn't even find the order for another 10 minutes. When she did, all she could say was "They aren't in."
Avoid this place like the plague.
