used credit card processor for 4 years. in last 2 years added compliance fee, reg.admin. fee, visa and mc fees i cancelled 11/29/12.  i talked to service rep. but they said i had to talk to retention dep. they transferred but i had to leave a message. no one called back. there was no activity in dec. 2012, but they debited my acct $75.90 i called and talked to retention dep on 1/14/13. 

i thought he said he would credit my account, because i called on11/29. when there was no credit, i called on 2/1/13. he said on 2/1 that he was to review on 1/14. now on 2/8 he said credit is denied, because no form was filled. i did not accept, he said he would have supervisor tricia keyes call on 2/11/13 i have not received any call as of 2/12/13 my belief is they do not want to respond. they want any reason to collect additional fees illegally.

rip off report WORKED
sterling payment tech.'s supervisor called me the next day
the original rep i talked to was on the line
she agreed to refund charge for last month i was not using them
she did not know if refund would be ACH or check.
i did not have response, but when i called they said was credited in 3 days
 i received refund and satisfied
