Complaint Review: Steve Hamre Remax Ottawa

We used Steve Hamre of Remax in Ottawa to sell our home several years ago and never felt good about it. It just felt like something was wrong. Something just didn't seem right and it always bothered us. Not only did the entire proceadure of dealing with Steve Hamre feel somewhat nefarious and greasy, it seemed like the final price was much lower than we expected and what all of our neighbours had gotten at the time.

I've since learned from others in the Ottawa area, they had the same type of experience with Steve Hamre and others that know Steve Hamre personally told me it wasn't my imagination. Steve Hamre will sell his clients out and do a back room deal with his friends and real estate partners that flip properties or simply buys the house as a rental property. He gives them the final bids on the price so they can bid just a little higher, but nothing more or even hides some of the higher bids from his clients in order to help his friends get the house at a lower price while getting a kick back from the buyer. 

I've since helped my in-laws sell their home by using a totally different real estate agent without any issues or doubts on the final price. I've done the same with some of my friends, family members and colleagues in order to keep them away from "Swindling Steve Hamre" and I have them deal with an honest and reputable real estate agent. 

Steve Hamre seemed more obsessed with us writting him a great review for his website than actually selling our house for a better price. He was more preoccupied with getting a recommendation from us to use on his website in order to make him look good, than what we wanted.

If you had a bad gut feeling dealing with Steve Hamre's creepy smile and weird look, it's not you, it's definitely him and stick to your gut feeling and get away.
