Because Steve Nadel of Tyler Galleries didn’t take credit cards, I had to pay the full price of $3,000 in advance and prior to delivery for a sculpture I bought from him. I've been waiting for that sculpture since September 27, 2013 –– that’s 16 months as of this writing. No refunds, credits, apologies, or even offers to help from Mr. Nadel. His current response is that I have to chase his shipper, a truck driver I've never met, to retrieve my sculpture.

I’ve read other reviews of Tyler Galleries and Steve Nadel. I don't much care if he’s a racist, a despot, or a cranky old man, but he should stand up for the customer who trusted him.

The moral of the story is: When a merchant tells you to trust him because he's been in business for many years, it may mean that he might be retiring soon, so reputation isn't so important anymore.

If he ever crosses your path, Steve Nadel's shipper is Drew Gerard of LDG Delivery Services. Mr. Gerard also says he’s retiring soon –– after accumulating horrible reviews on the Complaint Board and losing a famous painting by Ida Kohlmeyer (http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2014-01-03/news/fl-missing-painting-20140102_1_painting-delivery-truck-antiques). If I’d known that, I would never have allowed Mr. Nadel to use LDG Delivery Services.
