Purchased camera from ebay user 'dutyfree' on August 15, 2004. Camera never shipped. No contact (despite frequent emails) until October 8th, when legal action threatened. Then informed he was insolvent - bankrupcy. Unable to deliver cameras promised. Selling up to 350 per week. At $250 this is over $85,000 per week. Probably a few more of you out there.

PayPal was worthless. Hid behind some 30-day contract fine print. Somebody else told 15-days. Fill in the blanks depending upon your situation. Bank of America champions. They will take on both Pay Pal and dutyfree.

Besides the monetary inconvenience, lost pictures while waiting on the camera delivery was also a problem. Ebay and Pay Pal have washed their hands of this problem.
