Every book written by Steven Sears on the CIVIL WAR has only perperuated the myth and legends that surround historical battles. GETTYSBURG will never be forgotten and the great grand childrren will read in history class about the sacrafice made by their family for preserving the union.
CONFEDERATE STATES have lost their sense of historical objectivity in their quest for rewriting history from the persective of slave owners and plantation owners who caused million to toil in poverty for generations. The Mason-Dixon line commemorates the divides from union soldiers at HARPERS FERRY.
JOHN BROWN and abolishonists celebrate in freedom for negros andl liberty for slaves in the underground railroad to northern states. History wil not be rewritten to suit only the revisionists who want to show the war from military reinactments and diaries of confederate deceased veterans.
