I agree with the 2000 Ranger owner, my Ford is a 2004 F150 Lariat with 42,000 miles, and (according to Stoneham Ford) the brake rotors were completely rusted through and had to be replaced (1st brake job), although there is no other rust on the vehicle. I contacted Ford directly to question the validity of three year old brake rotors being completely rusted through. I was simply told that they had no "program" to assist me. So here's my "program," the next truck I buy will be either a Chevy or Toyota. I have owned six Ford's in my life, but as I assured their "customer service representative," I will not be purchasing another. I'm under the impression that they would rather play the rebate game, then to produce a vehicle made of high quality materials.
