First, "about:" infected my computer, showing up in my browser window. I typed it into my browser to see what it was, anda link to a site called "STOPzilla" came up so I went there. It promised to remove precisely the type of spyware this "about:" was (I now believe they are in cahoots!). It looks VERY legitimate and professional, so I downloaded the software for $29.95. It immediatey messed up several things on my computer when I tried to use it, so I uninstalled as quickly as possible, but still have problems. When I tried to contact them for their "30-day guarantee full refund," guess what? No way to contact is on their website! Surprise, surprise! I had to get an address from a page of reviews I found (Almost ALL negative, other ripped-off consumers like me!). STOPzilla never responds. So Ifiled acomplaint with PayPal, who has done nothing so far that I know of, so I filed a complaint with Safecart, who I assume guaranteesto help with onlinepurchases(?). I have no idea, and haven't heard from them either. Do NOT buy STOPzilla! It's a fraud.
