After attending a conference to learn how to promote my internet business, and paying a $20 fee to secure my place, I was invited to attend a workshop for storesonline.com at the Hilton Hotel in Long Beach on 9/18/02. A good percentage of the people who attended were senior citizens. One hour and a half into the meeting, just before the first break, everyone was asked to fill out a credit check form. The information requested on the form, among other personal information included name and address, date of birth, social security and telephone number.

I stood up and asked the speaker a simple question: Why should anyone give their social security number to a company that has been so poorly rated by the Better Business Bureau, as well as many other rating organizations, such as consumerripoffs.com, or for that matter by simply entering storesonline.com complaints into your browser. I was immediately escorted out of the premises and security called on me to make sure I did not return.

Please do our society a favor, especially to our senior citizens that this company is taking great advantage of and do an expose on this company and the other company names they hold DBA's for, such as Galaxy Mall, Imergent Inc. etc.etc. Thank you Kirk Lakewood, California
