Complaint Review: Storesonline.com

I have been "taken" by Stores on Line. They are a group of shysters who make promises they cannot or will not fulfill. I never felt that I would "fall" for this type of scam...but these people know how to "sell the Dream". I attended a seminar in Novi, MI on June 19, 2002. I purchased three storefronts and was told my drop ship sources would enable me to sell on the internet. The sources given by stores on line were not available, had discontinued products I was interested in selling or no longer in business. On July 3, 2002 we were contacted by PMI, an affliate of Stores On Line for a personal coach to help us get our "store" on the Net. The store opened by the end of September 2002. Watching the "hits" to the site we saw over 600 visitors and not one sale. I then tried to make a sale myself and it could not be processed. I contacted Stores On Line and after 48 hours I was told there was no electronic means to make a purchase. I asked why they put my website "live" without a means to complete the transaction? They told me it was my responsibility and I should have read my information booklet. For this I paid thousands of dollars! Chris Farmington Hills, Michigan
