By subjecting people to a full-day workshop, overloading them with information, dramatizing the benefits of a mediocre (at best) product, and pressurizing them into seizing a "glorious" one-time offer, StoresOnline.com has succeeded in coaxing people to part with their hard-earned money. And if I, the world's ultimate skeptic could have been made to part with my $3,000, then you can imagine how bad things will be for those who still have faith in the human species. I am angry with myself for being so gullible, but, to be sure, I will not relent until I get my money back. I refuse to be repaying, for the next year, a debt that enriches a hoard of veritable rogues. And I find it frustrating that the state, which one could rely on to protect one from these predators, is (as far as I know) not doing anything about these fellows. And what more, my credit card issuer, MBNA, tells me that there's nothing they can do about it. THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT??? I specifically use credit card in making large purchases because I've always had the impression that using credit cards (as opposed to checks, etc.) offered one an additional layer of protection. We must not let these people continue to take advantage of people. I am all for taking steps to fight them. Charles Chicago, Illinois
